1. Ordering process and contract formation

This e-commerce site is managed by Agrizoo soc.agr.coop. Srl (hereinafter “Borgo del Gazzano”), with registered office in Via Gazzano 69, 43122 Parma, VAT number 00172670341.

To make a purchase, the customer selects the desired products from the Shop, chooses the available options (weight and format), adds the products to the cart, and proceeds to checkout. During checkout, they must provide billing and shipping information, choose a payment method, and accept the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

The order is considered sent when the customer clicks on “Place order”. The sales contract between the customer and Borgo del Gazzano is perfected when the customer receives the order confirmation by email. This confirmation summarizes the products purchased, prices, shipping method and delivery information.

Borgo del Gazzano reserves the right to refuse an order if the product is unavailable, there are errors in the published price, or there are payment issues. In such cases, the customer will be promptly notified and, if payment has already been made, will be fully refunded.

You can make purchases either as a guest or by registering with a personal account. Registering allows you to track orders and speed up future purchases.

2. Prices and VAT

All prices indicated on the product pages of the site are expressed in Euro (€) and they mean each other VAT included. The VAT rate applied varies depending on the country of destination of the order and is calculated automatically during the checkout process.

Prices do not include shipping costs, which are calculated and displayed separately before final order confirmation.

Borgo del Gazzano reserves the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect confirmed orders.

Any promotional codes (e.g. FIRST100 (for a 10% discount on your first order with a minimum spend of €100) can be entered in the appropriate field during checkout. Each code is subject to its own specific terms and conditions of validity and use.

3. Accepted payment methods

Borgo del Gazzano accepts the following payment methods:

Bank transferThe customer must make the bank transfer using the order ID as the reason for payment. The order will be processed and shipped only after the funds have cleared into the bank account. Crediting times may vary (typically 2-3 business days).
PayPal: secure payment via your PayPal account.
Credit Card / Debit CardDirect card payment, handled securely and encrypted through the PayPal platform. A PayPal account is not required.
Apple Pay: available for devices compatible with the Apple Pay service.

All electronic payments are processed via a secure connection (SSL/TLS). Borgo del Gazzano does not store customer credit/debit card information.

4. Shipping: times and costs

Products are shipped to Italy and several European countries. Shipments are made via express courier.

Estimated delivery times: 5-7 working days from order confirmation (or payment receipt in case of bank transfer).

Shipping costs: The cost varies depending on the destination country and is calculated automatically during the checkout process. Shipping is expected. free shipping upon exceeding a minimum weight threshold, which varies according to the country of destination.

There is also the option of collection on site at Via Gazzano 69, 43122 Parma, by prior arrangement.

Delivery times are approximate and may vary due to holidays, adverse weather conditions, or unexpected courier delays. Borgo del Gazzano is not responsible for delays attributable to the carrier or force majeure.

5. Returns and Refunds Policy

Since these are perishable food products, returns for reasons other than product defects or order errors are generally not permitted, in accordance with Article 59, letter d) of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), which excludes the right of withdrawal for goods that are likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

However, Borgo del Gazzano guarantees the highest quality of its products. In the event of a product damaged during shipping, defective or not as described, or an order processing error (wrong or missing product), the customer is entitled to a replacement or a full refund, at their discretion.

To activate the procedure you must contact our customer service within 48 hours from receipt of the goods, by sending an email to info@borgodelgazzano.it with a description of the problem and, if possible, photographs of the defective or damaged product.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the purchase, within 14 business days of the report being verified.

6. Right of withdrawal

Pursuant to articles 52 and following of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), the consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods, without having to provide any reason.

Exception for food products: as provided for by art. 59, letter d) of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply Goods that are likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly. This exception applies to food products sold by Borgo del Gazzano, as these are cheeses with a specific shelf life.

If, exceptionally, the right of withdrawal can be exercised, the customer must communicate his decision within 14 days by sending an email to info@borgodelgazzano.it, indicating the order number. The products must be returned within 14 days of the cancellation notice, at the customer's expense, appropriately packaged and in the same condition in which they were received.

Borgo del Gazzano will refund the price paid (excluding the original shipping costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method used for the purchase.
