Once upon THIS time....

a millenary village
where everything is homemade.

why Borgo del Gazzano?

There is a place where all things make sense (time, climate, people, resources, territory, geography). It is the treasure’s island of Parmigiano-Reggiano: a strip of land that includes the provinces of Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena, Bologna (to the left of the Reno river) and Mantua (to the right of the Po river)

We had an absolutely fantastic experience here. The tour guide was passionate and informative. I feel like I really learned a lot. And I have deepened my appreciation for this wonderful cheese even more than I thought possible.

Torneremo

Our guide from GYG was friendly & explained the key details of Parmigiano Reggiano making. We tasted fresh cheese & few aged cheese which were approved to be sold as Parmigiano Reggiano. Definitely recommended for cheese lovers.

This small manufacturer makes very high quality Parmigiano. Thanks to Giarra currently the head cheesemaker I got to know the secrets of this wonderful food. Thank you very much for time and all the passion about the product you have shown to me!

how it's made

the Parmigiano?

The organic farming method differs from the traditional one only in terms of ingredients

The art of the dairyman from Borgo del Gazzano allows the various stages of cooking the milk to be preceded by the eye and sensitivity of the dairyman himself

The consumption of Parmigiano-Reggiano del Borgo del Gazzano is possible from 13 months of aging onwards, that is, after the first fire branding.

WHY

is genuine?

The possible adverse reactions to food related to the consumption of dairy products are exclusively related to two factors:
